NORNA 2023 Call for abstract!

Dear colleague,

On behalf of the NSFLOS Organizing Committee and the NORNA Board of Directors, it is a pleasure to welcome you all to the 6^th Nordic Operating Room Nurses Congress.  
The Congress will be held in Bergen city center at Radisson BLU Royal Hotel from 6.-8. September 2023.

The theme of the congress is: ONE STEP AHEAD – perspectives on operating room nursing
The aim of the conference is to share perspectives on operating room nursing, and how the future might influence or affect our role as operating room nurses.
An important part of our program is the medical technology industry exhibition, where you will have the opportunity to get information and news, to test products and ask questions.

Bergen – celebrated 950 years in 2020.
Bergen is the Gateway to the Fjords of Norway.
As a UNESCO World Heritage City and a European City of Culture, the Bergen region has the ideal combination of nature, culture and exciting urban life all year around. The congress will be held at the Radisson BLU Royal Hotel, situated on Bryggen – the UNESCO listed heritage wharf.

On Wednesday 6^th. September you are invited to our welcome reception held by the Mayor of Bergen at Håkonshallen, situated just a few hundred meters from the congress hotel. Håkon’s Hall was built between 1247 and 1261 by Håkon Håkonsson as a royal residence and banqueting hall at a time when Bergen was the most important city of Norway.

Registration
The registration for NORNA 6^th congress will open March 27^th at www.nsflos.no.

The early bird deadline          May 15^th
Registration deadline            June 29^th  

Thereafter, registration may be accepted subject to availability.

Accommodation

We have a limited number of hotel rooms reserved for NORNA participants at a special NORNA rate at the congress hotel Radisson BLU Royal Bergen and the nearby Thon Hotel Orion.
NB these rooms can be booked in the registration form when you register for NORNA.

When registering for the congress a confirmation by email will be sent immediately after registering. You may pay by credit card or invoice. Norwegian participants may also use EHF Invoice.
Registration is binding but may be transferred to another person.

On-site registration
The on-site registration is open: 
Wednesday, September 6^th.            from 16:00 – 18:30
Thursday, September 7^th.                from 08:00 – 10:00 
Friday, September 8^th.                     from 08:00 – 10:00

Congress fees 

VAT is included in Congress fees

The following items are included in the delegate fee:
Attendance at all sessions, congress APP, congress bag, lunches, coffee/tea/serving during breaks, welcome reception from 19.00 – 20.00 on Wednesday, September 6^th.

All participants are welcome to the congress dinner on the 7^th. September, but you have to sign up separately for this event as it is not included in the congress fee.
